Produced for the Max Mara Art Prize for Women in collaboration with Enourmos Films, this documentary-style interview follows Indonesian artist Dian Suci and curator Cecilia Alemani through Venice during the announcement of the prize’s latest edition.Conceived as a moving conversation rather than a traditional interview, the film combines walk-and-talk sequences, poetic observational imagery, and layered sound design to create an intimate portrait of the artist’s practice and research. The narrative explores themes central to Dian Suci’s work: craftsmanship, spirituality, repetition, domestic rituals, memory, and the invisible systems embedded within everyday gestures.Shot across Venice — from the lagoon and Via Garibaldi to the Serra dei Giardini — the project contrasts the city’s historical textures with reflections on globalization, ritual, and contemporary identity.
